Third German Teachers' Meeting – June 1, 2019 in Malaga
Another year has passed, and once again we will be holding the third German Teachers' Meeting in Malaga. The event was created in 2017 at the German Academy – Deutsch Schule in Malaga with the aim of bringing together German teachers and publishers for direct contact.
At the event, in addition to creating interesting connections, presentations on specific teaching topics will also be held. The shared exchange of experiences will help find solutions to some teaching challenges. Topics such as "How do we motivate young people to learn languages?" " or "How do you break the ice at the beginning of class?".
Afterwards, we will all enjoy a delicious lunch together to get to know each other a little better and exchange contact information.
This year, the German Teachers' Forum focuses on the use of digital tools in teaching. Innovations, technology, and media play a very important role in our ever-changing world. They are also increasingly used in teaching. They can improve learning processes and promote motivation, especially at a young age. But are there also risks or dangers associated with the use of technology in learning? What should be taken into account and what is lost when using media? This fascinating topic will be discussed in an open dialogue.
We look forward to hearing from publishers Klett-Langenscheidt, Macmillan-Hueber, Cornelsen-Herder, and the Spanish-German newspaper "SUR Deutsche" for their interesting contributions to this year's forum.
